Rancho Verde High School Mission Statement:

To motivate our diverse population to achieve the academic and social skills necessary to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Counselors:

Counselors are available before and after school and during lunch, with a pass. Students can also email their counselor to request an appointment to meet.

CAL GRANT Information

Current Seniors: In order for you to try and qualify to earn a Cal Grant (Money for College) it is mandatory that your GPA be submitted electronically to the California Student Aid Commission no later than Oct 1st of your Senior Year of High School. We will be submitting your GPA and no further action is required by you. If you do not want your GPA submitted, please have your parent/guardian come to the Records Office at RVHS to sign an Op-Out Authorization Form. Please have them see, Mrs. Brion, Registrar, 8:30 to 4:30 M- F

Current Juniors: You have the option to process an Early Op-Out Authorization of having your GPA sent to the California Student Aid Commission during your Senior Year. Your parent/guardian can see Mrs. Brion in the Records office your Junior Year to Sign the Op-Out Authorization Form. Please remember, if you do not want your High School GPA Released to CSAC, you will forgo the opportunity to try and earn cash for College.

Graduation Requirements

UPDATE ON CAHSEE:

The California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE), formerly a graduation requirement for students in California public schools, was suspended Effective, January 2016 (AB 172). As a result of this law, students that graduated in classes 2006-2015 who met all other course and credit requirements will be eligible to receive their high school diploma. Please contact Mrs. Brion at at ext 31150 to make arrangements to pick up your Diploma from Rancho Verde High School. Photo ID is required.
